Wire Harness Technician

Position Summary

Cub Crafters has an opening for a Wire Harness Technician. This position will be responsible for manufacturing harnesses that will be installed on Cub Crafters production aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Wire measuring and cutting.
  • Select wires of specified color, marking, or length, and loops wires between guide pegs on harness board, following color-coded lines or sequential numbers on board or diagram.
  • Attach ends of wires to components, plugs, or terminal strips, using soldering iron or calibrated crimping device.
  • Use a heat gun to install heat shrink and solder sleeves.
  • May test wiring continuity, using continuity tester.
  • Use a computer to log into the production and timekeeping software system.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous wire harness experience a plus.
  • Previous electrical experience a plus.

Compensation

  • Pay is based on experience. Range $16.28 to $20.00
  • One week paid vacation after year one and two weeks of paid vacation per year afterwards;
  • Sick Leave benefit which is richer than required under the WA State law;

  • contributions up to 4% after 6 months of employment;
  • Company pays 75% of medical plan for employee and 25% for employee’s dependents. Separate vision, dental, life, and LTD available.
  • Health care plan is available the first month after 30 days of continuous employment;
  • Access to Cub Crafters’ aircraft, rental at the employee’s rate.
