Description

After Piper stopped building PA-18 Super Cubs in 1994, CubCrafters took over building these aircraft new in 1996, and built a total of 75 of these aircraft between 1996 and 2006. Quite rare, those 75 aircraft are the newest Super Cubs in existence, and this particular aircraft was built near the end of that run, just two years before Super Cub production was discontinued forever.

This aircraft is in great shape and has all the popular Super Cub modifications, including a 2000 lb. maximum gross weight upgrade, Lycoming 180 HP engine, long 82″ prop, reinforced 3rd seat baggage area, headerless fuel system, and larger wing fuel tanks. Upgraded at CubCrafters in 2015 with new avionics and to the the other exacting specifications of a longtime Idaho resident, this aircraft is the ultimate mountain west PA-18 backcountry machine with most every conceivable PA-18 improvement and STC all wrapped up into one great package.

N67XX has only a little over 700 hours total time, recent avionics upgrades, and less than 100 hours SMOH on the engine. We’ve been through everything here at the Factory, and the aircraft comes with a fresh (June 2024) CubCrafters annual inspection. It has pretty much everything you could imagine for a truly classic backcountry capable PA-18 Super Cub that is ready to go for any adventure!
