AOPA Fly-In, Missoula
June 15, 2018 - June 16, 2018
Nestled in the Northern Rockies of Montana, the “birthplace of mountain flying,” Missoula is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. Surrounded by seven wilderness areas and at the confluence of three rivers, you can kayak, raft or tube through downtown or take a relaxing hike in 60,000 acres of wilderness. Missoula is known for its blue-ribbon trout fishing and spectacular natural beauty. In downtown Missoula, you’ll find delightful stores, galleries, restaurants, and more.
You’ll find lots of hands-on workshops and seminars for every level of pilot. Don’t miss the Pilot Town Hall where you can share your ideas with AOPA President and CEO Mark Baker. Enjoy the Friday night Barnstormers Party. Check out the amazing Exhibit Hall and Aircraft Display. Learn about your AOPA member benefits at the AOPA Village, and much more.
With the Museum of Mountain Flying and Smokejumper Visitor Center nearby, and Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks not far away, you can bet we’ll have some fantastic fly-out options from Missoula.
We’re working on organizing destinations that will give you the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge you learned during the weekend’s workshops and seminars. It’s also an opportunity to make new memories, connect with other pilots, and extend your stay with more reasons to fly!
