BUILDER ASSIST COORDINATOR

Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, our Builder Assist Coordinators are key members of the Customer Support Group (CSG) at CubCrafters with the primary role of supporting the company’s Factory eXperimental (FX) program, including scheduling, administration, and facilitating builder assist sessions at the factory. In addition, this position supports company’s sales activities, and supports direct and national sales events.

With 150+ factory assist EAB aircraft delivered to date, and an increasing demand for more factory builder assist services, the CubCrafters builder assist program is expanding and has full time Coordinator position(s) open.

Avionics Manager

The Avionics Manager will oversee our FAA Certified Repair Station and also participate in strategic planning for the business. This position is expected to work in close collaboration with other departments to plan and perform various retrofits, scheduled/unscheduled avionics maintenance, and support our kit panel builds.

Aircraft Upholsterer

We are looking to hire a skilled upholsterer to join our team, to fabricate and repair upholstered production and aircraft parts. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting the appropriate materials for the job, and installing the upholstery to meet the desired specifications.

Document Control Specialist

Become an important member of our team supporting the development and innovation of world class backcountry aircraft that are fully manufactured in the United States. Located at our Pacific Northwest world headquarters, we are seeking a motivated individual to help support our Company’s growth in the critical task of maintaining accurate documentation as we produce high quality aircraft in Yakima, Washington. The primary role of the Document Control Specialist is to facilitate and maintain the day-to-day documentation work flow for the Administrative Support team. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining the continuous revisions of drawings and technical documentation in addition to administrative tasks providing support to multiple departments across the Company.

Engineer I

CubCrafters, an industry leader in light aircraft manufacturing, has an opening for an Engineer I. This position will be responsible for production support, process improvements, design projects, and other tasks as needs arise.

Parts and Accessories Sales Clerk

The Parts and Accessories Sales Clerk will be responsible for all aspects of parts sales to both fleet and individual retail customers. This position requires tracking and verifying inventory, receiving and processing orders originating from phone calls, emails, and online. The Parts and Accessories Sales Clerk will also be responsible for assisting customers in finding the correct part for their application and following through to make sure the customer receives their order in a timely and efficient manner. This person will be the primary contact for external airframe parts sales across multiple product lines and provide customer assistance in navigating our web store and parts catalogs.

Machinist

Quality Control Inspector

The primary role of the Quality Control Inspector is to act on behalf of the CubCrafters Quality organization to enable the success of the CubCrafters aircraft manufacturing teams in all activities. A CubCrafters Quality Control Inspector works independently with peers and management from all departments to achieve quality department objectives. Quality Control Inspectors work directly under the Quality Manager in support of all quality department tasks, goals and objectives.

CNC Programmer

As a CNC Programmer you are directly responsible for creating and editing all necessary programs for our fabrication facilities. You will also design fixtures, identify tooling needs, and troubleshoot any issues at the machine. This position will challenge your ability to plan and program complex surfacing, multi-operations, and/or multi-axis parts.

Aircraft Cover Technician

Summary

CubCrafters is looking for a dependable, hardworking, team player, willing to learn the trade of covering aircraft. You must have attention to detail, able to perform repetitive tasks, and the ability to follow instructions as they are directed.  Prior experience not required but a plus.

 

Fiberglass Technician – Multiple Positions

Avionics Technician

Cub Crafters Avionics, an FAA Certified Repair Station has an opening for an Avionics Technician. This position will be
responsible for performing primary installations, retrofits, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including major
and minor modifications under supervised direction.

Material Control

In this position the primary role is to move parts and documentation between all Cub Crafters locations, occasional pick up or deliver to and from various assigned locations. This person will also assist in receiving, storing, stocking and distributing parts to the production line following Cub Crafters warehouse systems. The candidate to fill this position must be an active, high paced individual who enjoys a challenge and who strives for continuous improvement and works well independently.

Aircraft Mechanic – Multiple Positions

CubCrafters is expanding and has full-time aircraft mechanic positions in both our new manufacturing and our service and maintenance organizations. Staff in these positions inspect, maintain, and repair the structural, mechanical, and electronic systems of the aircraft we manufacture and service. Our mechanics are trained to use a wide variety of diagnostic devices, computers, hand & power tools to assess, fix, and assure the airworthiness of the aircraft we produce and maintain.
