Yakima, Washington \u2013 November 11, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0CubCrafters<\/em>, the world\u2019s leading manufacturer of backcountry aircraft in the\u00a0Light-Sport, Experimental, and Part 23 Certified\u00a0classifications, is proud to announce that\u00a0Ray and Melisa Fowler of Adventure Flying LLC\u00a0have joined the company\u2019s elite team of\u00a0Certified Sales Centers (CSC)\u00a0as representatives for the\u00a0Mid-Atlantic region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ray and Melisa\u00a0will manage new, used, and kit aircraft sales across six Mid-Atlantic states:\u00a0Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.\u00a0<\/strong>Ray and Melisa are available to offer demo flights in both the\u00a0Carbon Cub UL, featuring the new\u00a0Rotax 916iS engine, and the\u00a0XCub,<\/strong> CubCrafters\u2019 FAA-certified flagship model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet Ray and Melisa Fowler<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Both\u00a0Ray and Melisa\u00a0<\/strong>are\u00a0<\/strong>A320 Airbus pilots with Delta Air Lines\u00a0and\u00a0Certified Flight Instructors (CFII). Together, they bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to CubCrafters\u2019 growing community. They are deeply involved in the aviation world, from instructing new tailwheel pilots to flying\u00a0WWII-era fighters and bombers\u00a0at airshows and museums around the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CubCrafters would also like to take this opportunity to recognize\u00a0Ray \u201cHollywood\u201d Fowler. After\u00a028 years of service\u00a0in the United States military, Ray recently completed his final flight as an\u00a0F-35 Lightning II pilot\u00a0in the Air National Guard. From his early years flying\u00a0F-16s\u00a0on combat missions in\u00a0Operation Iraqi Freedom\u00a0and\u00a0Operation Enduring Freedom\u00a0to commanding the most advanced fighter jet on earth, Ray\u2019s career exemplifies courage, discipline, and leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his airline and military service, Ray also serves the FAA as a\u00a0Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE)\u00a0and\u00a0Specialty Aircraft Examiner (SAE),\u00a0<\/strong>helping warbird owners and aspiring aviators achieve advanced certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
