Ready for spring flying, C-GLWG is a very rare factory-built high gross weight Carbon Cub with Canadian registration. One of only six such aircraft ever built, they are almost never seen up for sale. G-GLWG has a massive 850 lbs. of useful load, even as equipped with 29″ tundra tires, 3X3 extended landing gear, a 3200B bush tailwheel, and a heavy-duty ABW tailwheel spring. It’s an aircraft that is very capable for the shortest of primitive strips and off-airport landing locations. With both extended baggage and long-range fuel, it’s also equipped for extended backcountry trips. When not having been flown, this airplane was always hangared by the previous owners, and is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition!
