The CC11-100 Sport Cub was the predecessor to the Carbon Cub. First introduced in 2006, it is the same airframe and provides the same nimble light-weight fun as Carbon Cub, but is powered by a super-economical Continental 0-200 engine which gives the airplane similar takeoff, landing, and cruise performance to a legacy 150 HP PA-18 Super Cub. The Continental O-200A engine is the same engine that has powered tens of thousands of light training aircraft and is proven to be one of the most durable and reliable 4-cylinder horizontally opposed aircraft engines ever manufactured. With fuel consumption typically under 5 gallons per hour, this is a very inexpensive aircraft to operate. With a cruise speed of over 100 MPH and a range of over 450 miles, the S2 is the very essence of the low and slow stick and rudder flying experience.

N223CC is a rare example as it is still in the S-LSA category, meaning that it could even be offered for rent or leaseback with an FBO to provide tailwheel instruction, you almost never see Sport Cubs in this category up for sale anymore. This is single-owner aircraft coming from an estate sale, and CubCrafters just completed an extensive overhaul of the airplane, such that it is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic shape. Very much ready to go for spring or summer flying fun in 2021.

Whether used for work or for pleasure, an aircraft like this provides a unique tool for social distancing while also following the appropriate guidelines from both Government and healthcare professionals. – Concerned about Covid-19? – We can bring this aircraft to you!
