HAVE YOU BEEN WAITING FOR AN AFFORDABLE CARBON CUB WITH 2013 MODS? THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!
Many dream of owning a Carbon Cub, but the used ones with the 2013 and later mods have remained stubbornly high priced! Its rare to have one come along like this that is priced well under the $200K mark.
N709W has all the 2013 upgraded options that are important to a backcountry enthusiast….. yet boasts the ultra low weight that was indicative of the early years of the Carbon Cub. Serial #117 was initially purchased as a demo plane by the Utah dealer, and lived a large portion of its life on skiis.
Many Carbon Cub fans know what in 2013, CubCrafters made sweeping upgrades to the Carbon Cub, including a new Cowl for better cooling and heating, new and improved Catto prop, light weight starter, re-designed sump for superior fuel air mixture delivered to the cylinders, and a host of smaller items. These upgrades cost in excess of $15K to retrofit on pre-2013 Carbon Cubs, and this beauty has them done!
In addition, newer avionics and digital engine monitoring were added for a clean looking panel, that still nods to the traditional analog gauge pilot, with plenty of navigation capability and engine information.
To put the icing on the cake, the current owner just had a full ADS-B suite installed, with both IN and OUT capability! She is fully 2020 compliant and traffic and weather has been integrated in the Garmin 696.
Finally, the brand new Acme BlackOps Gen 3 shocks were installed, taking this Carbon Cub to the very leading edge of handling and performance capability!
Why wait over 14 months for a new Carbon Cub SS that will cost close to $250K, when this one is available? Hurry to check it out… it wont last lone. With its unique paint scheme hearkening back to the Super Cub days, this Carbon Cub is a hot sleeper!
